Rental FAQs

  • On Saturday mornings our rental time is from 10am-2pm, this space can accommodate up to 40 guests. This is a flat rate of $800 plus tax & gratuity but includes brunch and a mimosa bar.

    All liquor must be purchased through The Lively.

    On Thursday, Friday & Saturdays if you rent The Lively for a private restaurant experience there is a food & beverage minimum of $1000 which is tracked as the evening goes. The $1000 is paid as your deposit and any remaining purchases you make will be due at the conclusion of your event.

  • Yes, we love when there are private events hosted at The Lively! Please be aware that your rental begins from the time you want the door unlocked until the time you would like to be completely wrapped up. Please consider set-up and teardown in the times you’d like to rent.

  • We use our weekday menu for our private events. The morning rental is the brunch menu and the evening is the dinner menu. If you are interested in having our Chef Chris come up with a menu for your party please inquire, we are happy to.

  • The Lively hosts a variety of different events, anything from rehearsals, adult birthday celebrations, baby showers, bridal showers, retirement parties, business luncheons/meetings, we are here to help you celebrate!

    Graduation parties are a perfect fit for our sister company Little Lights on the Lane right next door on Sundays outside on the porch. Email eventslittlelightsonthelane@gmail.com to inquire about dates for a graduation party.

  • The Lively can host up to 40 guests for Saturday am party rentals and up to 60 for the private restaurant experience.

  • When you rent The Lively, you get the entire upstairs area exclusively for you & your party!
    The downstairs of our building is the Cedars Edge Golf Course clubhouse!

  • There will not be another rental on the same day as your private rental.

  • That really depends on the time of day. We share our parking lot with the lovely Little Lights on the Lane event center. So, parking can be a bit of a challenge during a wedding. We know that can be a bit of a frustration for guests. Our best suggestion is to come prepared to stroll down Ember Lane. It’s beautiful at the Cedars Edge Golf Course, so just know that, if you come in the evening, enjoy the walk! Of course if you need assistance, please just ask our team and we would be happy to assist.

  • Yes, we have 4 high chairs for use!

  • Your access time is included in your overall rental time. (Rent The Lively for the amount of time you would like, including time to decorate and tear down.)

  • Of course, we would like to say no to this, but if you have been having a grand ol’ time at The Lively and you need to leave your car for safety then do that. Thanks for being safe.

  • We have Sonos speakers that you are welcome to use for playing music during your rental. We have the music systems Pandora and Spotify, so you are welcome to use ours - we can help you! Otherwise we probably have a good playlist going already, so don’t feel like you need to stress about this.

    You can prepare ahead of time by downloading the App: SONOS and when you arrive a Lively team member will help you get connected and play music!

  • If using our catering, we will need to have a final headcount a week in advance so we can prepare the food & have the correct number of staff members to work.

    If you’re not having food, 48 hours in advance is perfect.

  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed. If you’d like to bring in something from elsewhere please let us know. However, our liquor license requires all beverages to be purchased on-site.

  • Yes we are for certain positions. We also love to have applicants on file that are interested in working at either The Lively or Little Lights on the Lane. Shoot us an email!

  • If you are looking for a location for a small wedding, please inquire and we can chat about the options. Little Lights on the Lane is located next door and they host weddings and events (they have hosted lots of small weddings on the porch).
